My first post!

I'm not even sure why I'm starting a blog. Lots of people are blogging. About their pets, their hobbies, their family, their job etc. As of this moment, I don't know what this blog will be about. Maybe a little of everything.

    Where in Virgina are you? My parents retired about five years ago to Smith Mountain Lake, near Roanoke. Also my husband's brother lives in Virginia, outside of D.C. It's a beautiful state!

    Amy, I'm in the "valley", only about an hour north of Roanoke. I've heard of Smith Mtn Lake...I think hubby went on a work sponsored fishing trip last year. Thanks for stopping by.
